Senior Intelligence Analyst

Jake is a critical member of Paladin’s high-performance client-supporting teams. Recruited to amplify the firm’s ability to anticipate and respond to systematic expansion in the scope and depth of the client needs, he brings to the firm’s work cutting-edge knowledge, skills and experience global situational awareness and operational security experience at the corporate, client executive, and military levels. He is responsible for planning, directing, and organizing OSINT threat intelligence monitoring, risk advisory, and mitigation development. In addition to his wealth of knowledge of OSINT, Jake is also an expert in areas such as situational awareness, operational security, threat monitoring and mitigation, and travel advisory and risk alleviation.

Jake joined the Paladin team after working as a senior security operations specialist at Fiserv. In this capacity, he helped improve the timely and efficient escalation of security incidents in a 24/7/365 operational environment. This required initiating and disseminating security briefings to senior leader covering natural disasters, civil unrest, accidents, weather phenomena, and utility outages and managing the security operations, overall planning, directing, and organizing programs for all facilities. Jake led rotating shifts of 20+ associates across multiple locations identifying all potential impacts that could affect the company’s associates, assets, or facilities in a 24/7/365 environment. He also was highly active in monitoring worldwide events that could impact Fiserv’s assets, associates, or operations in 22 US states and 37 countries across the APAC, LATAM, EMEA regions.

For the past six years, Jake has been actively engaged in the Alabama Army National Guard as a Team Leader serving in a Light Infantry company. In this trusted leadership role, he is responsible for the welfare, fitness, morale, and discipline of a four-man team. Responsible for the individual training and maintenance of their equipment, he is the primary instructor and adviser in the matters of tactics, personnel management, and junior leader development. He is also responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all assigned organizational clothing and individual equipment worth $100,000+. His current duties also include those of a Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) Driving Instructor, responsible for coordinating selection, classroom instruction, testing and licensing of LMTV drivers, as well as, maintaining operational readiness of $250,000 in LMTV assets.
